Samyang Optics, a global optics brand has recently announced the release of three new lenses for Nikon F and Z mounts. One of the new lenses is an autofocus lens for the F mount. The other two are manual focus lenses which the company designed for the Z mount. According to Samyang, the three new lenses – the AF 85mm f/1.4 F, the MF 14mm f/2.8 Z, and the MF 84mm f/1.4 Z – were crafted to conform with the latest industry trends and meet users needs.

All three new lenses come with ultra multiple coating which ensures that they produce quality high-resolution images. It also helps to set the contrast from the center of the image. Furthermore, all of the new lenses has anti-dust and water-protection capabilities. This means that they are capable of functioning in unpredictable and harsh weather conditions. These new lenses provide very sharp images from edge to edge with detailed and natural-toned looking color rendering.

Samyang is not new in the business of making specially designed lenses for top camera brands. The optics company has, in the past, released a variety of lenses compatible with the latest cameras from both Sony and Canon. Even the Nikon F mount got an autofocus 14mm f/2.8 F in 2018. This makes the 85mm f/1.4 F Nikon’s second autofocus F-mount-compatible lens from Samyang. The MF 14mm f/2.8 Z and MF 85mm f/1.4 Z are the first set of Nikon Z lenses from Samyang. With beautiful bokeh, the AF 85mm f/1.4, as well as the MF 14mm f/2.8 Z and MF 85mm f/1.4 Z, are a welcomed addition to the lens collections for F- and Z-mount camera systems.
